The Faculty of Business at Tanta University held a grand graduation ceremony today to celebrate the graduates of the Bachelor’s Class of 2024 and the Postgraduate Classes of 2024 and 2025. The event was attended by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University; Prof. Mahmoud Eissa, Deputy Governor of Gharbia; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Yasser El-Garaf, Dean of the Faculty of Business; Prof. Tarek Radwan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dina Abdel Hady, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Prof. Hani Mahareq, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; several Members of Parliament; and a large gathering of faculty members, administrative staff, alumni, and graduates.
In his speech, Prof. Mohamed Hussein congratulated the graduates, praising the dedication and effort they exerted throughout their academic journey. He highlighted the Faculty of Business at Tanta University as a longstanding beacon of knowledge and a cradle of excellence, having produced generations of graduates who have assumed key leadership roles and contributed significantly to the nation’s development.
Prof. Hussein emphasized that the graduates are now stepping into a new phase—one of true responsibility—where society places its trust in their knowledge, integrity, and ethical conduct. He urged the graduates to always live up to that trust, to continue learning and evolving, and to represent their university and faculty with pride in various professional fields. He wished them a bright future filled with success and expressed gratitude to the faculty members for their unwavering support and guidance.
Prof. Mahmoud Eissa extended his congratulations to the graduates, noting that this day marks the culmination of their continuous efforts over the past years. He pointed out that the new chapter ahead is filled with great responsibilities and opportunities and encouraged graduates to prove themselves worthy of the trust placed in them by pursuing lifelong learning and actively contributing to national development.
Prof. Hatem Amin also congratulated the graduates on their achievement after years of hard work and perseverance. He noted that the graduation of a new cohort reflects the success of the educational process and the faculty’s commitment to providing a high-quality academic environment. He encouraged students to maintain their connection with the faculty and continue enriching their knowledge.
Prof. Yasser El-Garaf expressed his happiness at attending this memorable event, which remains a cherished moment in the lives of all graduates. He thanked the faculty members for their continuous support and tireless efforts in guiding the students throughout their academic journey. At the conclusion of the ceremony, tributes were paid to the late Prof. Aref Abdel Karim and Prof. Mohamed Abdo Al-Yuwa. The event also included honoring late administrative staff members, distinguished alumni, and faculty members who were promoted to the ranks of Professor and Associate Professor during the year. The celebration concluded with the recognition of the 51st graduating class of Bachelor's students (Class of 2024) and postgraduate students (Classes of 2024 and 2025, both academic and professional), who received their certificates, commemorative shields, and took group photos to mark the occasion.
