Fatma Mohamed Attia, a student at the Faculty of Commerce, Tanta University, and a champion of Egypt’s national judo team, secured two medals at the African Judo Championship held in Côte d’Ivoire from April 25 to 27, 2025. Fatma claimed first place and the gold medal in the team events, and also achieved third place and the bronze medal in the senior individual category at the same championship.
Tanta University President, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, congratulated Fatma Mohamed Attia on this outstanding achievement, affirming the university’s full support for its talented students and its commitment to encouraging them to accomplish further successes that raise the name of Egypt and Tanta University on the international stage.
