Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, attended this evening the final match and closing ceremony of the President’s Cup Football Championship for the 2024/2025 academic year. The event took place at the university stadium located within the Faculty of Sport Sciences, with the attendance of:

Prof. Mamdouh Al-Masry, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts

Prof. Hany Saeed, Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences

Several vice deans and faculty members

Prof. Magdy Wakouk, General Coordinator of Student Activities

Mr. Mohamed Al-Qassir, Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare

And a large number of students from various faculties.

The final match brought together the teams of the Faculty of Sport Sciences and the Faculty of Arts, in a vibrant atmosphere marked by sportsmanship and fair competition. The Faculty of Sport Sciences secured the championship title after a strong and well-deserved performance.

In his remarks during the ceremony, Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his happiness with the level of talent and commitment displayed by the students throughout the tournament. He praised their team spirit, discipline, and the positive energy that characterized the games, reaffirming the university’s full support for extracurricular and sports activities that contribute to character building and talent development among students.

The closing event concluded with the awarding of the championship cup and medals to the winning teams:

Second place: Faculty of Arts

Third place: Faculty of Computers and Information

Fourth place: Faculty of Nursing
