Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, announces the opening of candidacy for the election of the university's representative to serve on the Board of Directors of the Fund for Improving the Conditions of Non-Academic Staff at Egyptian Universities. The position is open exclusively to non-faculty members of the university.

Interested candidates should submit their applications addressed to Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Chair of the Supreme Committee for Overseeing the Elections. Applications must be submitted in person to the office of the University Secretary-General during the period from Saturday, June 28, 2025, to Tuesday, July 1, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, in accordance with the official election timeline.

• The preliminary list of candidates will be announced on Sunday, July 6, 2025.

• Appeals will be received on Monday, July 7, 2025.

• The final list of candidates will be published on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

• The election process, vote counting, and result announcement will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025.

Candidacy Requirements:

1. The applicant must be a member of the Fund in accordance with Article 4 of its Financial Regulations.

2. The applicant must not have been subject to any disciplinary actions or penalties during the past five years.

3. The applicant must not have any constraints that would prevent attendance at board meetings, regardless of their time or location.

Required Documents:

1. A candidacy application addressed to Prof. Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Chair of the Supreme Committee for Elections.

2. A valid copy of the national ID card.

3. An official employment status statement issued by the university’s General Administration, indicating whether any disciplinary actions have been taken within the past five years.

4. A recent criminal record certificate (addressed to Tanta University).

5. A drug test report issued by a governmental authority (either from Tanta University Hospitals or Health Insurance facilities).
