Tanta University Council, in its regular session for August 2025, held today and chaired by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, has approved the disbursement of a bonus of EGP 3,000 for faculty members, and EGP 2,000 for assistant staff and permanent employees including administrative staff, security personnel, seconded staff, and nursing staff at the university hospitals who are currently in service. Additionally, a bonus equivalent to 15 days’ wages, with a maximum limit of EGP 1,000, will be granted to irregular workers employed on a "pay-for-work" basis.

Prof. Mohamed Hussein explained that this bonus comes as a recognition of the dedication and hard work of all university employees in completing preparations for the upcoming academic year 2025/2026. He added that the university is committed to continuously supporting all its staff, emphasizing that acknowledging the efforts of work teams fosters a sense of belonging and boosts morale, which positively impacts the quality of work.
