Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President , participated in the regular meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities held yesterday, Saturday. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in the presence of Prof. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary-General of the Council, along with members of the Council. The session took place at Sadat City University.

During the meeting, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research emphasized the importance of early preparation for the upcoming academic year, including the announcement of class schedules before the start of the semester. He also called on universities to set out plans for student activities and awareness seminars addressing various national and societal challenges.

The Council also discussed strategies for promoting Egyptian universities both locally and internationally, and approved the rules and regulations for faculty promotion in the new cycle.
