Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, attended today the graduation ceremony of the third cohort of students from the Faculty of Computers and Information. The event was held in the presence of Prof. Nancy El-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Osama Ghoneim, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Omnia El-Barbary, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, along with members of the teaching staff, graduates, and their families.
Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his delight at the graduation of the Faculty’s third cohort from the Departments of Computer Science and Information Technology, noting that this celebration represents the culmination of years of dedication and perseverance. He emphasized that the field of computers and information is not merely an academic discipline, but rather the language of the modern age, spoken across all sectors and fields. He urged the graduates to continue learning, to make innovation and development their lifelong passion, and to remember that the knowledge they acquired at the university is only the beginning—practical experience will refine their skills and open new horizons.
The University President also extended his gratitude to the parents for their pivotal role in this achievement, and expressed sincere thanks to the faculty members and staff of the Faculty of Computers and Information for their dedicated efforts in providing the highest standards of education and fostering a stimulating learning environment.
For her part, Prof. Nancy El-Hefnawy congratulated the graduates, stressing that this milestone is the result of joint efforts between students, parents, and the teaching staff. In her message to the graduates, she encouraged them to pursue continuous learning and self-development in order to keep pace with the rapid advancements in information technology. She also extended her gratitude to Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, for his strong support of the Faculty, and thanked all those who contributed to this academic journey, including faculty members, administrative staff, and the students’ families. She wished all graduates success in their professional and academic endeavors, urging them to always be role models in ethics, work, and dedication.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of the Faculty’s Shield by Prof. Nancy El-Hefnawy to Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, and to Prof. Emad Atman, former Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development. A number of faculty members, unit directors, administrative leaders, and staff from both the University and the Faculty were also honored.
