He emphasized that, through the integrated national vision and the continuous directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and his generous patronage of numerous presidential initiatives in the field of providing medical services to all segments of citizens, Tanta University—through its well-established medical disciplines—continues to affirm its pioneering role in mobilizing all its material and human resources in service of national development strategies.

Prof. Hisham Tawfik, Conference President, added that the scientific discussions addressed the latest modern treatment philosophies, in addition to sessions focusing on the laws regulating medical practice in Egypt. He noted that the conference included 13 scientific sessions featuring 44 practical lectures.

The conference witnessed broad participation exceeding 300 attendees, including 75 of Egypt’s leading oncology professors. The conference also featured a presentation on the second presidential initiative for cancer, which focuses on the early detection of lung, colon, prostate, and cervical cancers.
