Over the course of three days, the conference discussed a number of strategic themes, most notably the development of admissions and registration systems in accordance with international standards, the impact of digital transformation in student services on universities’ institutional reputation, and the role of accurate statistical data in strengthening universities’ profiles submitted to global ranking bodies such as QS and Times Higher Education.

On the sidelines of the closing ceremony, Prof. Mohamed Hussein was honored and awarded the Organization’s Shield. He also received shields from the University of Tunis El Manar and the University of Carthage in recognition of his active participation and leading contributions to enriching the conference sessions. Furthermore, he delivered a presentation entitled “The Strategic Role of Admissions and Registration Systems in Enhancing Universities’ International Rankings,” which was based on the National Strategy for Higher Education as a model for supporting global university rankings. The presentation also highlighted Tanta University’s tangible efforts in developing administrative and academic systems in a way that aligns with students’ aspirations.

During the closing session, Prof. Mohamed Hussein expressed his pride in participating in this important Arab forum, emphasizing that admissions and registration processes are no longer merely routine administrative procedures, but have become the primary interface reflecting a university’s level of development and its ability to attract international students. He stressed that these systems represent a fundamental pillar in improving global rankings through the enhancement and digitalization of student services. He also underscored the importance of the conference’s recommendations, calling for closer cooperation among Arab universities to exchange expertise and unify visions, thereby ensuring the global competitiveness and leadership of Arab higher education.
