Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced the issuance of a presidential decree appointing Prof. Ahmed Abada Gadoua Al-Arabi as Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Tanta University.

   Prof. Ahmed Al-Arabi obtained his Bachelor’s degree (Licentiate) from the Department of Library Science, Tanta University, with "Excellent" grade in 1992, followed by a Master’s degree in Library Science from Tanta University in 1999, and a PhD in Library Science from Tanta University in 2001.

   He was appointed as a Teaching Assistant in 1993, Assistant Lecturer in 1999, Lecturer in 2002, promoted to Associate Professor in 2010, and attained the rank of Professor in 2015.

   Prof. Al-Arabi has held several academic and administrative positions, including Head of the Department of Library Science in 2015, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development in 2016, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs in 2019, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs in 2022, and General Coordinator of Distinguished Programs from 2022 to date.
