In Commemoration of the Righteous Martyrs of Duty on the 74th Anniversary of Police Day, Prof. Mohamed Hussein Participates in Laying a Floral Wreath at the Memorial in Tanta

   Today, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, participated in laying a floral wreath at the memorial monument at the Police Training Center, in commemoration of the righteous martyrs of duty on the 74th anniversary of Egyptian Police Day. The ceremony was attended by Major General Ashraf El-Gendy, Governor of Gharbia, accompanied by Major General Tamer El-Samary, First Assistant to the Minister of Interior for the Central Delta Region; Major General Osama Nasr, Director of Gharbia Security; Brigadier General (Armed Forces) Mohamed Magdy Khairallah, representing the Commander of the Northern Military Region; Air Commodore Sameh Mostafa Sadeq, Commander of the Gharbia Air Base; and Brigadier General (Armed Forces) Wael Fathy, the Governorate’s Military Advisor.

   The event was also attended by Major General Mohamed El-Gendy, Director of the National Security Administration; Brigadier General Hazem Mehran, Commander of the Military Intelligence Office; Colonel Ahmed Youssef, Deputy Director of Military Intelligence; and Brigadier General Magdy Mohamed Nour El-Din, Director of the Tanta Recruitment Zone.

   The ceremony commenced with the performance of the military band playing “The Martyr’s Salute,” in a solemn scene reflecting the great sacrifices made by the men of the Egyptian Police. This was followed by the recitation of Al-Fatiha in honor of the martyrs’ souls, and the playing of the national anthem of the Arab Republic of Egypt, amid an atmosphere filled with pride and deep respect for their heroic deeds.

   On behalf of all members of Tanta University—faculty members, administrative staff, and students—Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, extended his highest congratulations and appreciation to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to Major General Mahmoud Tawfik, Minister of Interior, and to all valiant men of the Egyptian Police on the occasion of their 74th anniversary.

   He affirmed that this day is not merely a historical commemoration, but rather a powerful symbol of steadfastness and sacrifice demonstrated by men who honored their pledge, protecting the nation’s internal front and preserving the security and stability of our beloved homeland. He added that the sense of reassurance enjoyed today is the result of immense sacrifices and the pure souls of the righteous martyrs who inscribed, with their blood, enduring epics of heroism.

   Prof. Mohamed Hussein, Tanta University President, further stressed the University’s unwavering commitment to instilling the values of loyalty and national belonging in the hearts of its students, ensuring their full awareness of the magnitude of challenges faced by the Egyptian state and the heroic role played by its men in safeguarding the nation’s security and resources.
