The Council of Tanta University, at its fifth meeting for the academic year 2025/2026, held under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Mohamed Hussein, President of the University, approved the conferment of the academic title of Professor upon the following faculty members: Ahmed Ibrahim El-Desouky Hammad and Reda Gaber Saleh Abdel-Nabi from the Faculty of Dentistry; Rehab Badawy Mohamed El-Sheshtawy, Ramez Abdel-Moneim Mohamed Ibrahim Barhouma, Islam Ibrahim Abdel-Hamid Hegab, Rodwa Mahmoud Desouky El-Sheraby, and Mohamed Tarek Abdel-Moneim Abdel-Ghaffar from the Faculty of Medicine; Wael Abdel-Qader El-Sayed Amer, Lamia Ibrahim Mohamed Bakr Ahmed Helal, Rania Abdel-Khaleq Abdel-Samad El-Shennoudy, and Mostafa El-Sayed El-Behy El-Shobry from the Faculty of Science; Khaled Khodary Ismail Shneishen and Rowaayat Ismail Abdel-Fattah El-Saidi from the Faculty of Engineering; El-Saeed Mohamed El-Saeed El-Adl and Ihab Ezzat Ahmed Abdel-Latif from the Faculty of Sports Sciences; and Amira Saber Mahmoud Ahmed Mohamedin from the Faculty of Specific Education.

     The Council also approved the conferment of the academic title of Assistant Professor upon Ahmed Hussein Hosny Ali Abou El-Saadat and Youssef Osama Mohamed El-Khayat from the Faculty of Engineering; Yosra Abdel-Moneim Farid Zamzam, Nada Hashem Mohamed Ayad, and Seham Ezzat Fathy El-Feky from the Faculty of Medicine; Doaa El-Sayed Ali Abdel-Rahman El-Sherif from the Faculty of Science; Omnia Momtaz Ibrahim El-Fakhrany from the Faculty of Pharmacy; Yehia Khairy Ahmed El-Agizy from the Faculty of Sports Sciences; Nagwa Abbas Mohamed Mohamed El-Bandary from the Faculty of Specific Education; and Amal Abou El-Azm Abdel-Rahman Younes, Samah Abou El-Enin Abdullah Abou El-Enin, and Sara Abdel-Monegy Mostafa Mohamed from the Faculty of Nursing.

       In addition, the Council approved the award of 39 postgraduate diplomas, 80 master’s degrees, and 53 doctoral degrees across various disciplines.
