   Prof. Mohamed Hussein Attended Closing Ceremony of Ramadan Futsal Tournament for Students

   Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, attended the closing ceremony of the Ramadan Futsal Tournament for students, which was held on the university's fields. The atmosphere was characterized by joy and high sportsmanship. The university president honored the winning teams and distributed medals and trophies. Also present were Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Amgad Salama, Dean of the Faculty of Science for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Osama Ghoneim, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Magdy Wakouk, Coordinator of Student Activities at the University; and Prof. Mohamed El-Qaseer, Director General of the University's Student Welfare Department.

   During the competition, the Faculty of Computers and Information team secured first place and the championship title after an outstanding performance throughout the knockout rounds. The Faculty of Nursing came in second after a thrilling final match, while the Faculty of Science took third place, completing the podium. This year's tournament featured fierce competition among 16 teams representing various faculties of the university.

   In his address at the closing ceremony, the President of Tanta University affirmed the university's unwavering commitment to supporting student activities that contribute to honing young people's skills and discovering their talents. He added that this year's Ramadan tournament witnessed a significant improvement in organization, praising the large student turnout which added a special atmosphere to the matches. He emphasized the importance of sports as a fundamental pillar in building students' character and promoting the values of fair competition and teamwork.

   For his part, Prof. El-Sayed El-Agouz explained that the success of the tournament, with the participation of 16 teams, reflects the students' keenness to actively participate in university life. He pointed out that the university's Student Affairs sector always strives to organize events that combine entertainment with fair competition, expressing his appreciation to the organizing committee and referees for their efforts in presenting the tournament in such a distinguished manner befitting the name of Tanta University.

   The celebration concluded with commemorative photos being taken with the winning teams, a scene that reflected the role of sports activities at the university in creating a stimulating and positive environment for students during the holy month of Ramadan.
