President of Tanta University Inspects Tanta University Children's Cancer Hospitals to Monitor Workflow

   Prof. Mohamed Hussein, President of Tanta University, conducted an inspection tour today of Tanta University Children's Cancer Hospitals. This visit reflects the university's commitment to close on-site monitoring of operations at university hospitals and ensuring the quality of medical care provided to patients.
   The tour was attended by Prof. Mohamed Hantira, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Hospitals; Prof. Hassan El-Tatawy, Executive Director of University Hospitals; Prof. Mohamed Gaber, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Louay El-Ahwal, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Ragia Sharshar, Director of Training at University Hospitals; and a number of student representatives from student families and unions.
   The tour included the University Children's Cancer Hospital (3) on Othman Mohamed Street and the University Children's Cancer Hospital (2) in the Medical Complex. The University President inspected the various hospital departments, listened to reports from doctors and nursing staff regarding the children's health conditions and treatment schedules, and ensured the availability of all necessary medical supplies and medications according to medical and treatment protocols. He emphasized the importance of adhering to the highest standards of quality and occupational safety to provide a safe hospital environment for the children.
   In a heartwarming gesture, Prof. Mohamed Hussein spent time with the hospitalized children, presenting them with gifts in celebration of the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holiday. This brought joy to the children and their families, offering them some respite from their illness during the Eid celebrations.
   During his tour, Prof. Mohamed Hussein emphasized that Tanta University Children's Cancer Hospital is a vital medical institution providing comprehensive medical services in accordance with international medical protocols for pediatric patients. He directed that all forms of psychological and logistical support be provided to the children and their families, and that any obstacles they may face be addressed. The university president also stressed the need to raise the hospital's level of preparedness to the highest degree during the Eid holiday, intensify the presence of specialized medical teams around the clock, attend to the psychological well-being of the children and their families, and provide recreational activities within the hospital.
   For his part, Prof. Mohamed Hantira affirmed that university hospitals, particularly children's cancer hospitals, are operating at full capacity to provide superior medical care based on the latest international treatment protocols and the protocols of Hospital 57357. He emphasized the university's commitment to providing all necessary support, noting the implementation of a series of training activities for medical and nursing staff to ensure the sustainability of service delivery and the availability of all necessary supplies and medications, in cooperation with the 57357 Foundation. He stressed the importance of providing full psychological and logistical support to the children and their families and creating a safe and supportive healthcare environment that adheres to the highest standards of quality and occupational safety.
